The tour
Spend 6 hours discovering the most fascinating and famous islands of the Venice Lagoon.
During this full day excursion you will be amazed by the beautiful surroundings of Venice and learn more about Venetian life and traditions. Begin your journey in a comfortable motorboat departing from the San Marco area and head to your first stop (approximately 1.5 hours stop): the island of Murano. Take the opportunity to visit a glass factory and learn how glass masters create their masterpieces during a glass blowing demonstration. Take your time to explore the island: don't miss the impressive Basilica dei Santi Maria e Donato, one of the oldest churches in the Venetian lagoon originally built in the 7th century.

Return to the motorboat to head to the second stop (about 2 hours of rest), the island of Burano where you can immerse yourself in its colorful houses. According to a local legend, Burano acquired its rainbow appearance thanks to the fishermen who lived there, who used to paint their houses in bright and light colors so that they could find their way home on their return from the sea. The island is also internationally known for its beautiful handcrafted lace.

Return to the motorboat and reach the last stop, Torcello (approximately 1 hour stop). Torcello was the first settlement in the Venice Lagoon, its history dates back to 452. Do not miss the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, founded in 639. Take a selfie with Attila's throne in the background, an ancient stone seat where they probably sat the magistrates or go up to the bell tower and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the lagoon and Venice.
