Valsassina! a weekend dedicated to the discovery of unspoiled nature, hiking trails to explore on the Grigne to the west and the Orobie Alps to the east and north. A weekend accompanied by expert SIEB guides (Italian ebike school), we start off in a great way with an ebike itinerary starting in the afternoon with the ascent to the Nicola Refuge at sunset! continue with the excursion to the small church of San Calimero on the slopes of Monte Grignone and to conclude this beautiful weekend with an ebike route in Val Biandino.
OUR OFFER:
3 days and 2 nights, bed and breakfast in a double room at the hotel Maggio 3 * (or similar) in Cremeno (Valsassina). Comfortable and ideal accommodation as a starting point for all excursions, it offers storage space for bikes during your stay.
Day 1 - E-BIKE NIGHT TOUR PLANS OF ARTAVAGGIO:
Meeting at 5:00 pm at the hotel. The Piani di Artavaggio are a perfect area for the practice of both muscular and electric MTB. Easy to walk paths and dirt roads also allow beginners to discover the beauty of these places between Valsassina and Bergamasca. An itinerary starting in the afternoon with the ascent to the Nicola Refuge at sunset to savor a dinner based on typical Valsassinesi products. The return then under a starry sky, pedaling among the sleeping mountains will be the crown on the cake of this evening.
Starting from the village of Maggio the first kilometers are of asphalt up to the Culmine di San Pietro. From there begins a beautiful dirt road, without excessive slopes with spectacular views over Valsassina and the beautiful pastures and huts of the area. Once you reach the piani di Artavaggio, you will climb decisively up to the Nicola Refuge, the highest point of the tour where we will admire the sunset and have dinner. After dinner, under a starry sky and with the lights of the valleys below us, we will descend towards Moggio via a beautiful and never difficult forest road. A tour not to be missed for lovers of large spaces and fun.

Day 2 - excursion to the CHIESETTA DI SAN CALIMERO (VALSASSINA):
Meeting at 09:00 at the hotel. Here is a beautiful and simple excursion on the slopes of Monte Grignone. We will go up to the famous and beautiful church of San Calimero, crossing the "mountains" of Pasturo, passing through the Pialleral refuge. An excursion to breathe and enjoy the magnificent panorama of Valsassina from the small church with the red roof.
Starting from the Church of the Sacred Heart we will go up through little-known and popular paths to Alpe Cova from where a nice traverse will begin which, with some ups and downs, will take us to the Pradello Superiore alp from where we will have a spectacular view of the Fažana del Grignone wall and on the mountains of Valsassina. From there we will soon be at the small church of San Calimero, located in a dominant position on Valsassina. After lunch we will descend with a ring route that crosses the most characteristic pastures of the Pasturo side to then reach the locality of Cornisella to then reach the cars.

Day 3 - excursion E-BIKE TOUR VAL BIANDINO:
A sunken and narrow valley that rises wildly to the Bocca di Biandino where the panorama suddenly opens onto a green and pleasant alpine valley rich in fauna and flora. The road ends at the Madonna della Neve Refuge where, after leaving the bikes, a short ascent on foot begins to reach the beautiful Lake of Sasso in whose waters the Pizzo dei Tre Signori is reflected.
Starting from Maggio we will descend towards Pasturo to take the Valsassina cycle / pedestrian path up to Introbio where the long ascent of Val Biandino begins. A dirt road, at times cemented, which with constant slopes will take us to the Bocca di Biandino where the view opens making us take a flat road that culminates in Madonna della Neve where we will return for lunch. Leave the bikes and go up along the valley with a path to Lake Sasso, a real pearl of Valsassina in whose waters the wild Pizzo dei tre Signori is reflected. Return to the refuge for an excellent lunch before the descent and return at the start.
