Valsassina! a weekend dedicated to the discovery of unspoiled nature, hiking trails to explore on the Grigne to the west and the Orobie Alps to the east and north. A weekend accompanied by expert SIEB guides (Italian ebike school) to discover one of the most beautiful tours of Valsassina and discover the wild and dolomitic Zuccone Campelli passing from the Piani di Artavaggio, walk to the top of Monte Due Mani crossing the Passo della Culmine of San Pietro accompanied by an expert mountain guide and finally on the last day ride the Sodadura Ring always driving the electric mountain bike.
OUR OFFER:
3 days and 2 nights, bed and breakfast in a double room at the hotel Maggio 3 * (or similar) in Cremeno (Valsassina). Comfortable and ideal accommodation as a starting point for all excursions, it offers storage space for bikes during your stay.
Day 1 - excursion E-BIKE TOUR ARTAVAGGIO :
Meeting at 09:00 at the hotel. The Piani di Artavaggio are a perfect area for the practice of both muscular and electric MTB. Easy to walk paths and dirt roads also allow beginners to discover the beauty of these places between Valsassina and Bergamasca. An itinerary straddling two provinces to discover valleys, mountains and plateaus of authentic and real beauty.
Starting from Moggio the first kilometers are of asphalt up to the Culmine di San Pietro from which you descend in the province of Bergamo to the village of Avolasio. From there begins a beautiful dirt road, steep in certain points, which runs astride the Valtaleggio with spectacular views of the Orobie and the beautiful pastures and huts of the area. Once you reach the Piani di Artavaggio, you will climb decisively up to the Nicola Refuge, the highest point of the tour where we will have lunch. After admiring the beautiful mountains of the area including the Campelli zuccone, we will begin the long descent towards Moggio via a beautiful and never difficult forest road. A tour not to be missed for lovers of large spaces and fun.

Day 2 - excursion MONTE DUE MANI (1655 mt) - CULMINE DI SAN PIETRO:
Meeting at 09:00 at the hotel. Monte Due Mani, wrongly little considered, is a very panoramic peak that we will reach from the Passo della Culmine di San Pietro. A crossing on the ridges rich in peasant history that divide the Bergamo area from the Valsassina to the top where the summit cross and the Locatelli bivouac stand. A climb for everyone to discover glimpses of rural life and wide views.
From the Culmine, cross to the west along the ridge that divides the Bergamasco basin from Valsassina. Through abandoned pastures and old pastures rich in history you can reach the Bocchetta di Desio with some ups and downs where the final ramp leading to the top begins. From the cross a fantastic 360 ° view of the peaks of Lecco and Bergamo. Return via the ascent route.

Day 3 - excursion E - BIKE TOUR SODADURA RING:
One of the most beautiful routes in Valsassina. A mix of panoramas and sky-like paths that cross the border between Valsassina and Orobie, guaranteeing guaranteed fun and an unforgettable day.
Starting from May the first kilometers are of asphalt up to the Culmine di San Pietro from which a beautiful dirt road begins that will take us first to the Piani di Artavaggio and then to the Nicola refuge. Here begins the most spectacular part of the tour that will make us circumnavigate Mount Sodadura from the north, with magical views of the Orobie and Valtellina. Arrived at the Bocchetta di Redargur, a short but steep descent awaits us that only the most capable will manage to tackle in the saddle. We will arrive in the plains where the Gherardi Refuge stands where we will have lunch. With a full stomach we will cross the southern slope of Sodadura towards Artavaggio. An environment without trees, with paths that cross the alpine meadow full of flowers and animals. Return at the start via the dirt road of the Culmine di San Pietro. Descent towards Moggio via a beautiful and never difficult forest road. A tour not to be missed for lovers of large spaces and fun.
