Domaso

The city of Domasino wine

Domaso is situated next to the Livio stream on the North-west coast of Como Lake.  It is an ancient village including two districts: Pozzuolo and Gaggio. The temperate whether and the constant wind support water sports such as sail and windsurf.

A strength point of this village is the production of Domasino wine, a very ancient, rare, and white wine produced in Pozzuolo and Gaggio vineyard.

We also suggest you to visit the Church of San Bartolomeo, built in the XVI century and containing a lot of Ligari and Silva frescos and a Rodari Madonna statue
In Domaso there are some aristocratic villas such as Villa Camilla, a seventeenth-century Villa, which now is the town hall, with fresco walls and a wonderful botanic garden.

The beauty of this location makes Domaso a desired destination for international  tourists and, along the lake there are a big amount of equipped camping
